"Universal McCann, a media services firm, and InsightExpress, an online research firm, said 42 percent of those polled during mid-March said they will spend less on going to the movies. Nearly as many - 41 percent - said they will spend less on eating at fast-food restaurants, and about a third said they will cut back on home electronics, appliances, home improvements and alcoholic beverages."
