'Super Size Me': When All Those Big Macs Bite Back

Another not so great review...looks like he's just a muckraker!!! :-)
"Morgan Spurlock's affable, muckraking documentary, elaborates on some facts that everyone seems to know: mainly, that the United States is in the midst of an epidemic of obesity and related health problems, and that fast food is bad for you. His attempt to demonstrate the link between these two matters, using himself as an experimental subject, represents an entertaining, and occasionally horrifying, statement of the obvious. After all, even the McDonald's corporation, while defending itself in a lawsuit filed by two overweight teenagers, submitted briefs citing the well-known health risks of its highly processed, high-fat foods. McDonald's' victory in the case was followed by the passage in Congress of a bill shielding the industry from future liability."

Cons enjoy fast-food feasts

"Federal prisons don't need a day pass to fix a fast food craving -- they get it delivered right to the joint, Sun Media has learned. Inmates can order a variety of tasty treats, including Kentucky Fried Chicken, subs, McDonald's and Chinese food. But the hands-down favourite in the lock-up is pizza -- with one group of convicts ringing up a hefty $760 delivery bill for Italian food at Ontario's Joyceville Institution recently."

Boston Market tries to take wing again

Looks like Boston Market (under McDonald's ownership) is finally going to try and tackle home delivery again.
"USATODAY.com - Boston Market tries to take wing again: "Watch out Domino's Pizza driver. Heads up, Chinese food delivery dude. Here comes an unexpected rival in home delivery: Boston Market."

A Big Con Man

Here's a not so flattering review of Super Size Me...
"TCS: Tech Central Station - A Big Con Man: "But 'Super Size Me' is not a serious look at a real health problem. It is, instead, an outrageously dishonest and dangerous piece of self-promotion. Through his antics, Spurlock sends precisely the wrong message. He absolves us of responsibility for our own fitness. We aren't to blame for being fat; big corporations are! And the remedy, he suggests, is to file lawsuits and plead with the Nanny State and the Food Police for protection."

High tech worker makes fast food career changeHigh Tech Worker Makes Fast Food Change

Dare to dream...
"It’s been almost three months since James M. Tully ventured into the fast-food business. He opened Quiznos Sub at 89 Whalon St, near the Twin City Plaza."
